LANDMARK moved to 4-0 with an 82-58 win Nov. 26 over Hebron.


LANDMARK edged Our Lady of Mercy 62-61 Nov. 25. Joy Stucker scored 24 points while Diamond Smith added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Jillian Price and Abby Johns scored 9 each. The next night the Lady War Eagles lost 45-43 to Hebron, as Stucker led the team with 13 and Johns scored 9. The Lady War Eagles are 2-3 on the season.

FAYETTE COUNTY lost 54-44 to Southwest DeKalb last Saturday in the Thanksgiving tournament at Morrow. Kayla Smith scored 18 points, followed by Nayla Battle (8), Latia Styles (7), Asia Harper (5), Aaliyah Davis (3), Whitney Williams (2) and Christa Jones (1).

SANDY CREEK defeated Heritage 54-30 Nov. 26 and lost 57-45 to Burke County last Saturday.

WHITEWATER is now 2-2 overall and 2-0 in region play. The Lady Wildcats defeated Union Grove 60-42 Nov. 22 with four players scoring in double figures: Jada Coggins (17), Kaelyn Dugger (12), Rena Jenkins (11) and Danielle Ross (10). Coggins scored 8 in Saturday’s 40-28 loss to Carrollton.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Senoia June 6-7 for the Canongate Series #4. The Canongate Seminole Course played excellent host to two very competitive rounds of junior golf.


The Downtown Coweta County Farmers Market that takes place every Wednesday has been temporarily moved to a different downtown location for July 8.
