DESCRIPTION:Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary hosts Critter Fun Day\, a morning program geared for junior animal lovers ages five to 12. During this three-hour adventure\, participants will share a guided tour through the sanctuary with an Animal Care Team member leading the way\, answering questions\, describing the animals with their feeding habits and how Noah’s Ark keeps these magnificent creatures active\, engaged and entertained through enrichment programs. Families are invited to visit the animals—including bears\, big cats\, reptiles as well as exotic birds and mammals—while experiencing all the exciting updates to Henry County’s popular attraction. Meet our two new bears Claire and Yonah\, meet our new tundra wolves\, Pete and Boaz\, say hello to the primates and jackals\, and interact with sulcatas roaming the new half-acre Tortoise Bluff. Enjoy face painting\, animal feeding\, food trucks\, refreshing Kona Ice\, inflatable bounce houses\, and more fun for the young and young-hearted. All proceeds support the sanctuary’s mission to provide a home for abused and unwanted animals.
