DESCRIPTION:Fayette County NAACP Youth Council Meetings are held every fourth Sunday at the Olivet Church of Christ\, 877 Highway 314 North in Fayetteville at 4 p.m. \nThe purpose of the Youth Council is to inform youth between the ages of 13 and 25\, of their rights as citizens; how to advance their economic\, educational\, social\, and political status\, enhance harmonious cooperation with other people\, and teach and stimulate appreciation for the African-American contributions to civilization. \nThe NAACP Youth and College Division is open to all youth within the county. If interested\, join the Youth Council at the upcoming meeting.

DESCRIPTION:ART FROM THE HEART will begin new sessions of free workshops and support for healing from childhood abuse on Monday\, October 14. Sessions continue weekly for six weeks\, through November 18\, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at LegacyMinistries\, 1952 Hwy 54 W\, Suite 100\, Peachtree City. \nWorkshops meet weekly for six consecutive weeks in anonymous groups. Each workshop provides insight into the way abuse affects the hearts\, worldview\, and relationships of all survivors. Art is utilized as a tool to connect and heal. \nWorkshops are led by teacher\, Christine Turner\, author of Beloved from the Start\, A Story of Healing and Restoration after Abuse. For more information\, email belovedfromthestart@gmail.com.
