Written by Dale Wasserman\, the play is adapted form the novel by Ken Kesey and presented by special arrangement with Samuel French\, Inc.\, a Concord Theatricals Company. \nWhen Randle Patrick McMurphy gets transferred for evaluation from a prison farm to a mental institution\, he assumes it will be a less restrictive environment. But the martinet Nurse Ratched runs the psychiatric ward with an iron fist\, keeping her patients cowed through abuse\, medication\, and sessions of electroconvulsive therapy. The battle of wills between the rebellious McMurphy and the inflexible Ratched soon affects all the ward’s patients. \nPerformances are scheduled October 3\, 4\, and 6 and October 10-13 on Thursday\, Friday\, and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (There is no show on October 5.) \nTICKETS \nAdults: $20 each ($25 at the door) \nChildren under 12: $12 \nAll Thursday night adult tickets are discounted by $5. The cast is full of talented actor/musicians. I think the best part is seeing these characters play all the music live as well as act and sing.” says Mark Smith\, director. “We’ve produced Smoke on the Mountain and Sanders Family Christmas before\, and they’ve both been audience favorites. So\, we decided it was time to bring back the Sanders family for Christmas!” \nSanders Family Christmas runs November 22 through December 22 with performances Fridays & Saturdays at 8 pm and Saturdays & Sundays at 3 pm. Adult tickets are $30-$40\, Senior & Student discounts are available as well as discounts for groups.
