Laurie Breckenridge with Compassus Palliative and Hospice Care brings a refreshing\, hands-on approach to beating the summer heat with simple\, flavorful ideas anyone can easily recreate at home. Enjoy a live cooking demonstration featuring a variety of delicious\, cool summer foods. From chilled gazpacho\, a vibrant cold tomato and vegetable soup perfect for warm days\, to creative ways to elevate everyday water with cucumber\, citrus\, herbs\, and other refreshing add-ins\, along with gourmet ice cubes made from juices\, berries\, edible flowers\, and a touch of sparkle\, you’ll be set for a summer refresh! The experience wraps up on a sweet note with popsicles on the porch\, making it an easygoing way to gather ideas for staying cool\, hydrated\, and inspired all season long.
