DESCRIPTION:People come to the tent sale rain or shine Thursday through Sunday.\nSmith and Davis is holding their semi-annual tent sale Thursday\, October 31\, through Sunday\, November 3. The sales have been going on for more than 20 years now\, and each one is larger than the preceding event. \nThe event started with a sidewalk sale and immediately got rained upon. Once the store started renting a tent\, it’s been a running joke that the tents bring rain. It’s apparently true. In more than 50 events\, there have only been three without rain. That hasn’t dampened the spirits of customers\, who are willing to endure a little bad weather to save big on clothing and shoes. \nSo\, starting October 31\, and continuing through November 3\, we’ll be at it again\, clearing out previous season’s merchandise to make way for the new. There will be great deals on great brands in athletic footwear\, boots\, and shoes of all kinds\, plus jeans\, outerwear\, shirts\, and spring and summer apparel for men\, women\, and kids\, all at crazy low prices! All items are 50 percent off the lowest ticketed price – some reduced as much as 85%!
