Rivers Alive Clean-up at The Ridge Nature Area

“Rivers Alive Clean-Up, October 12th, at The Ridge Nature Area” – Whitewater and Ginger Cake Creeks
This is your opportunity to help protect one of our most precious resources. Help us clean up the Ridge Nature Area’s trails, shores and waters by joining in support of Rivers Alive on Saturday, October 12th, from 9 am to 12 pm.
Fayette County Adopt-A-Stream jointly with Fayette County Extension/4-H jointly and Southern Conservation Trust will sponsor a Rivers Alive Clean Up at the Ridge Nature Area at 390 Burch Road, Fayetteville on October 12th. Please meet at the picnic table area just past “The Porch” at 9 am, Saturday, to register. Participants under the age of 18 and NOT active 4-H’ers must be accompanied by an adult. If an active club, group or school organization with an adult or faculty sponsor, contact the person named below for registration information. All volunteers must complete a liability form (available at http://ugaextension.org/county-offices/fayette/4-h-youth-development.html or https://sctlandtrust.org) prior to participation.
Don’t forget to bring/wear appropriate clothing, shoes/boots, work gloves and bring water bottles. Bring signed waiver or arrive several minutes early to complete one. Volunteer T-shirt will be presented while supplies last.
