Learn how to spot phone scams

Join us for a conversation about news impacting Fayette County. Judge Robert Ruppenthal and Captain Ethon Harper with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigations Division will discuss ways to avoid bank fraud, identity theft and phone scams Jan. 19 at 10 a.m.

Attendees will learn when and how to report suspicious fraudulent activity to local law enforcement.

The presentation is expected to last one hour and includes time for questions and answers. All ages are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

The library is looking forward to hosting more programs bringing casual conversation in the comfort of your Library.
The Fayette County Public Library is located at 1821 Heritage Way in Fayetteville. All workshops are free and open to the public.
