“Dementia Conversations,” a program offering helpful tips for families of dementia patients will be held on Monday, September 16, at 6 p.m.
The program includes honest and caring conversations with family members about dementia, including dealing with driving, doctors visits, legal and financial planning. The program reinforces the need to plan ahead and build a care team that communicates well in order to reduce the stress that can accompany a disease like Alzheimer’s and connects you with helpful resources to enhance the quality of life for everyone involved.
This event is free and open to the public. This event will be held in the lower level of the library in the Floy Farr Room. Registration required.
