Fayetteville police are on the look-out for a man who robbed the southside McDonald’s restaurant on Jan. 7.
Det. Mike Whitlow said the restaurant closed before 10 p.m. and the doors had been locked. A man attempted to open a door but, finding it locked, is believed to have entered the store by way of the drive-thru window, Whitlow said.
Armed with a revolver, the man approached the manager, pointed the gun at him and demanded money.
The man exited through an exterior door once he received the money, Whitlow said, adding that it is unknown in which direction the man left the area.
Whitlow said the man was described as a dark-skinned black male wearing gray pants with paint stains, a turquoise jacket and a red ski mask which had covered his face during the robbery.
Whitlow said investigators are reviewing area video cameras.
