Wayne Dee Wilkins of Senoia passed away May 19, 2016. Wayne was the son of the late Wallace and Ona Wilkins.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Chi Wilkins, sons Peter and Philip Pham, brother Scott (Janet) Wilkins, niece and nephew, Rachel and Taylor Wilkins. Wayne-o, as he was affectionately known, was loved by everyone who knew him.

His extended family included his coworkers at both Panasonic and Cooper Lighting, and his musical family. Wayne was always upbeat, remembered as a guy who could walk into any room and leave with as many friends as there were people in the room. A talented musician, Wayne was in his element when performing, connecting to every person in the room with his incredible personality. Wayne was adored by the people who worked for him. They said they looked forward to coming to work every day because Wayne made it so much fun, and they loved working for him because he was so nice. A true and loyal friend, he often ended his conversations with “have the best day possible.” Wayne truly made the most of every day.

A musical tribute and celebration of Wayne’s life is planned for Saturday, June 11th at Motorheads Bar and Grill in McDonough starting at 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Eternal Hope Hospice, 732 W. Taylor Street, Griffin, Ga. 30223.
