Clifford Edison Amos, 80, of Fayetteville passed away at home on January 22, 2016. He was born in Harrisville, W. Va. on May 1, 1935.  

Cliff is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marlene (Jackie) Amos; his daughters, Tammy Fosselman (Fred), Cheryl Bellio (Steve), Lisa Dixon, Terri Hecker (Todd), Patti Puckett (Wade), and Jennifer Amos (Brady Hurst); his grandchildren, Joe and Josie Fosselman, Cullen and Jack Dixon, Brandon and Rachel Puckett, and Jack and Ben Hecker; his sister, Anah Ehret; and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Opal Amos and his sister, Kay.  

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from West Building Materials as Regional Vice President.  

Cliff will be fondly remembered by his family for many reasons, especially his fun sense of humor and amazing work ethic.  He taught his six daughters many life lessons that will be passed on to his eight grandchildren.  

The funeral service was on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Allyson Lawrence officiating. Interment  followed the service at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, Ga.  The family received friends on Monday evening, January 25, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
