PTC is in the top 10 markets for finding a job

A report by zippia.com lists Peachtree City in the top 10 best places in Georgia to find a job. The report was based on the analysis of 600 places in the Georgia, concluding that Peachtree City placed No. 8 on the list.

The report averaged criteria that included the unemployment rate, recent job growth, future job growth, sales tax and median household income.

The report said that Peachtree City has a 5.9 percent unemployment rate and, at $91,349, has the sixth highest median household income in the state.

The top 10 cities were almost exclusively in north and northeast metro Atlanta. They included included Woodstock, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Holly Springs, Sugar Hill, Duluth, Roswell, Peachtree City, Snellville and Sandy Springs.
