The clerk at the Flash Foods store on Ga. Highway 54 and Ginger Cake Road in Fayetteville was held at gunpoint during a robbery in the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 18.

Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Mike Whitlow said two black males arrived at the store at approximately 2 a.m. on Nov. 18. One of the men stayed at the door while the other entered and produced a black handgun carried in his left hand.

Whitlow said the clerk was making coffee when the man approached her saying, “Bitch, give me all the money.”

The clerk went to the cash register and handed over the money while the felon held the gun on her, Whitlow said.

The men fled the store on foot heading east toward the Waffle House, and likely to a waiting vehicle, Whitlow said.

Both men were described as in their early 20s, 5’5”-5’7” in height, medium build and weighing approximately 140 pounds.

The man at the door wore a black hoodie, black shorts with a red stripe, black and white Nike Air Jordan shoes and a white cloth over his face.

The gunman wore a black hoodie, khaki pants with a red belt and a white cloth over his face.

Whitlow said investigators are reviewing area surveillance video.
