Items on the Peachtree City Council’s June 4 agenda will be few in number. One of those deals with a proposal to allocate funds associated with work on the dam on Lake Peachtree.

The proposed budget amendment would allocate up to $100,000 from general fund cash reserves to the Public Improvement Program (PIP) for ongoing costs associated with the dam project on Lake Peachtree. Funds not spent would be carried over to FY 2016.

The council in another matter will consider a request to grant an easement across a city greenbelt area for the installation of a sewer line to an area of Sumner Road recently annexed into the city.

The sewer line will extend up Sumner Road and terminate behind the Heritage of Peachtree City assisted living facility.

Also on the agenda, the council will consider a $15,000 funding request from Fayette Senior Services.
