The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club is celebrating 30 years of making a positive difference with hundreds of families in the Fayette-Coweta county area.

Recently a luncheon was held at Whitewater Creek Country Club. In attendance were current, active members, and seasoned, inactive members, including Bethanie Smithley, a National New Neighbor of the Year. The luncheon was kicked off with former NNLC member and Peachtree City mayor Vanessa Fleisch presenting a city proclamation honoring the club and its role in the Peachtree City community.

Cheryl Beaudreault, NNLC National Board President, recounted the history of the club, detailing how the members have empowered her for the past 30 years. And Carol Jensen-Linton, NNLC Club Director, was honored for her 20 years of extraordinary service to the club.

NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not for profit social organization that has a wide variety of activities. If you live in the Fayette-Coweta county area and would like more information about joining NNLC, contact Club Director Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 or visit www.newneighborsptc.com.
