“No Boundaries, the world around us” is a nature photography exhibit that has tapped the talents of local photographers, capturing nature in all of its beauty with the unique vision and style of the photographer.

“This show combines traditional nature photographs which are composed with intricate details along with more artistic interpretations of nature,” said show director Donna Thompson. “The collection of work by these 17 photographers resulted in an inspiring show that includes landscapes, birds, wildlife, water and flora.”

There are 51 photographs in the show.

Ten of the photographers are from Fayette County: Donna Black, Donna Crawford, Marquita Foster, Francis Hauke, Karen Jenkins, Jim Johns, Randy Johnson, Susan Perry, Walter Swett and Donna Thompson. Photographers from surrounding counties include Linda Godwin, Art Stiles, Mary Stiles, Alicia Pastiran, Jimmy Day, Marcia Fisher and Michael Parvin.

The show will exhibit at the Arts Clayton Gallery through Dec. 22. Arts Clayton is located at 136 South Main Street in Jonesboro.

In addition to the nature exhibit, Arts Clayton is hosting their Mistletoe Market, which offers a unique holiday shopping experience.  The Market includes fine art, ornaments, turned wood, pottery, blown glass, jewelry and Georgia-made food products.

“The No Boundaries exhibit is a beautiful collection.  It is certain to inspire a new respect for nature and the world around us,” Thompson said. “I believe guests who visit the show will enjoy seeing the work of local artists. It is our desire to feature the work from these talented artists in the Southern Crescent. We hope to provide more opportunities for our fine artists to exhibit in this area in the future.”
