CCF providing $3,000 in grants

The Coweta Community Foundation has announced that it is now accepting applications for its Coweta County Schools Classroom Educational Grants. This is the first year the Foundation is awarding such grants, and these grants will be awarded annually.

The Foundation will give a total of six grants in the amount of $500 each. Two $500 grants will be given to elementary schools, two $500 grants will be given to middle schools, and two $500 grants will be given to high schools.  

These grants can be used only for classroom educational purposes and cannot be used for school clubs, organizations or teams.

Classroom teachers may obtain applications by contacting the CCF office or the principal of their school. Deadline for submission is Dec. 31 and grants will be decided Jan. 15. Winning teachers and the principal of each school chosen for a grant will need to be available Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. for a presentation at the Foundation’s annual grants reception.
