Community Forum planned for Oct. 15
Shekinah Glory Fellowship Center will host a Community Forum on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. at 1381 Ga. Highway 85 North, Fayetteville. The purpose is to collaborate with local government/law enforcement officials and members of the local communities, working together to build stronger relationships in the community. St. Gabriel’s Bazaar set for Oct. 15, 16
St. Gabriel Catholic Church is hosting its seventh Annual Indoor Fall Craft Bazaar Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville (multi-purpose building next to the church). For more information, call 770-461-0492.
Music Fest will be Oct. 15 in Tyrone
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church announces its first Palmetto Road Music Fest on Oct. 15 at 411 Palmetto Road, Tyrone. Two local bands will be featured: Second Time Around (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) and The Full House Band (3 p.m.-7 p.m.). Admission is $5, with a $20 family maximum, and children are free. Available will be food trucks, art vendors, and a Kid Zone. Bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
Holly Grove plans Note Singing Day
On Sunday, Oct. 23, at 1:30 p.m. Holly Grove AME Church will host its Annual Stewardess Note Singing Day featuring the Middle Georgia Note Singers. The community is invited to join the congregation to experience this unique harmonious art of singing. Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd. , Peachtree City.
