Bethany plans yard sale Sept. 23, 24
Bethany United Methodist Church will have a yard sale Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23 and 24,  from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day. The church is on the corner of Milam/Rivers/Lee’s Lake roads in north Fayette County.

Harp’s Crossing to host simulcast
Cry Out! Simulcast — A Nationwide Prayer Event for Women — will be broadcast live on Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church, 1183 Ga. Highway 92 South in Fayetteville. Visit www.cryout16.com for details. All ladies of the community are welcome.

Shred your stuff at FCC Sept. 24
Fayetteville Christian Church will host a Shred Day on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at 114 Hickory Road. Fayetteville (corner of New Hope & Hickory Rd.) There is no charge but donations will be accepted. No advance registration is needed. Staples or paper clips do not have to be removed but documents should be taken out of binders and notebooks. Free food baskets offered this Saturday
The New Family of Christ Ministries will be giving out free food baskets at 9 a.m. this Saturday morning, Sept. 24, at 1040 Ga. Highway 54, Fayetteville.

PTCSDA to host special concert

Get a chicken meal at PTCUMC Saturday
The 12th annual drive-through Chicken-Que at Peachtree City United Methodist Church is set for this Saturday, Sept 24, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  The meal includes half a chicken, cole slaw, baked beans and a slice of bread for $8 dollars.  To purchase dinner tickets and for information, call 770-486-5331.

COS plans outdoor worship Sunday
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church invites everyone to an outdoor worship service Sunday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m., at the church’s property at 411 Palmetto Road, Tyrone. Worshipers are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. Pastor Miriam Beecher will preach, and Pastor Fritz Wiese will celebrate Holy Communion. This service replaces the 10:50 and 11 a.m. Sunday morning services at the church’s main campus. Regular services on Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday. at 8:30 a.m. will still take place.

Ebenezer’s revival set for Sept. 25-27
Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 848 Ebenezer Church Rd., will have a revival Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 25-27,  starting at 7 p.m. The preachers will be the Rev. Bob Partridge (Sunday), the Rev.
