Flipper Chapel plans Youth Sunday
The Flipper Chapel A.M.E. church at 175 Booker Avenue, Fayetteville,  will  celebrate the youth of the church June 28 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Kimberly Lyons, is pastor. The speaker of the hour will be the Rev. Vicky Cherry, associate pastor of St. Phillip A.M.E. Church, Decatur. Refreshments will be served.

COS changes July 4 weekend schedule
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will not hold its regularly scheduled Saturday night service on Saturday, July 4, but will celebrate God and Country Sunday July 5 at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m. Scripture and Pastor Miriam Beecher’s sermon will be complemented by patriotic readings and hymns.

Saint Gabriel VBS starts July 13
The SonSpark Lab Vacation Bible School program will be offered the week of July 13 – 17 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. daily at the Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel.  All children age four years through rising sixth graders are welcome to attend. The registration form is available at the church office located at 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, during office hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evergreen VBS starts July 13
Evergreen Church of Peachtree City invites children entering kindergarten through sixth grade to attend “SonSparks Labs” VBS July 13-17 from 9 a.m. – noon each day.  The church is at 400 Windgate Rd. Peachtree City. For more information, visit www.evergreenchurchga.org.

SDA church will host blood drive
The American Red Cross will host a summer blood drive at the Peachtree City Seventh Day Adventist  Church on Sunday, July 19 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sign up by going to redcross.org, click on Donate Blood, and search for PTCSDA.  The church is located at 4957 Ga. Highway 34 E in Sharpsburg.

PUMC to offer Community Bible Study

Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free. Prayer group meets at Summit
A community prayer group meets at The Summit Family Resource Center, 1373 Ga. Highway 92 S. Fayetteville, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  This is an inter-denominational event. Everyone is invited. Call 770-460-3335 for more information.

GriefShare sessions at Peachtree City United Methodist Church are open to anyone in the community grieving the loss of a friend or loved one,  and/or those who who need to connect with others going through the same journey.
