Ed and Joan Jachino 50th wedding anniversary

Ed and Joan Jachino will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 30. They were married in Glen Ellyn, Illinois at Glen Ellyn Methodist Church in 1963.

In 1976, the Jachinos moved to Peachtree City with their three daughters. Still residing in Peachtree City, Ed is retired from the James River Corporation, and Joan is a retired Fayette County teacher. While enjoying retirement, both are active in the community. Read More»

Jan & Bill Hall 65th Wedding Anniversary

Jan and Bill Hall will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on April 3, 2013.

They met in high school in Rockford, Ill. and married in 1948 at age 19. (They don't last).

Bill was a salesman for Graphic Arts and they have lived in several states. They are now retired in Peachtree City. Jan is active in the community with the garden club and book club.

They have two children, Mike Hall (Kathy), Jill Hall and one grandchild, Matt Hall.

They will celebrate their anniversary horseback riding at Georgia State Park Brasstown Valley in Young Harris.

Allen anniversary

Celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary are Glen and MT Allen of Peachtree City. The Allens were married Nov. 29, 1962 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hapeville.
They will celebrate the occasion with their children John, Tamara (Jay) and Danny along with their three grandchildren: Samantha (16), Graham (10), and Audie (9) at a small gathering on Nov. 21 with their close family and friends.

Hooper-Fernandez wedding

Jamie Carol Hooper and Dr. Alfred John Fernandez, Jr., were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012. The bride's parents are Jim and Nancy Hooper of Peachtree City.

The groom's parents are Alfred and Denise Fernandez of Roswell.

Berschinski-Howell wedding

Sabrina Tugendrajch Howell and Robert Gardner Berschinski were married Saturday, September 22 at Sharp Rock Vineyards in Sperryville, Va. Eliot Pence, a friend of the couple, officiated.

The bride's cousin, Siena Tugendrajch served as maid of honor. The groom's brother, US Army Captain (Ret) Dan Berschinski, was best man.

The couple met while attending Yale University, she as an undergraduate and he as a graduate student returning after deployment to Iraq. They graduated from their respective programs in 2008.
