The period of Nov. 22-28 came with a burglary and an entering auto in Fayetteville and an entering auto and vehicle theft in unincorporated Fayette County.

The Fayetteville burglary occurred during the early morning hours of Nov. 26 at a business on First Manassas Mile off Grady Avenue.

Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Mike Whitlow said the building was entered after the glass in a side entry door was broken.

A small generator and a television were stolen, said Whitlow.

Whitlow said investigators are reviewing surveillance video.

An entering auto incident occurred on Nov. 27 between 4-11 p.m. at the Longhorn restaurant on Ga. Highway 85 North near the Fayette Pavilion.

The right passenger window of an employee’s vehicle was broken, though nothing was stolen after the car had been rummaged through, said Whitlow.

A vehicle theft on Nov. 24 occurred at a residence on Newhaven Drive off Bernhard Road. Sheriff Barry Babb said a gray 2011 Ford F150 pick-up was stolen.

Babb said the unlocked vehicle appeared to have been hot-wired.

Also on Newhaven Drive on Nov. 24, an unlocked vehicle at a nearby residence was entered though nothing was taken, said Babb.
