Donate outer wear, comforters
Kwik Wash Coin Laundry of Fayetteville, and Church Of The Harvest International of Jonesboro, are joining efforts to collect unneeded, gently used, outer wear and comforters. During the month of December, COTHI Closet Ministry will be accepting donations at Kwik Wash Coin Laundry, located at 909 N. Glynn Street, Fayetteville. (Behind the new Family Dollar) Throughout the year, COTHI Closet Ministry distributes thousands of clothing items to local and surrounding communities in need. COTHI Closet, now a three year ministry, will continue servicing the community with donated items.

Final Advent service tonight
Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will have its final Advent service tonight ,Wednesday, Dec. 17.  A soup supper begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a table talk devotion. Services are held in the church sanctuary at 303 Kelly Dr., Suite 10, Peachtree City.

Prince of Peace concert is Dec. 19

Menorah lighting planned for Sunday
Chabad of Peachtree City invites the community to its Grand Menorah Lighting on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. at City Hall in Peachtree City, 201 Willowbend Rd. There will be activities for the kids and treats for everyone. This is a free event open to all the public. Connection plans Christmas event
The Connection Church, 398 Corinth Road in Jonesboro, will host an evening of Christmas music and family fun this Friday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event will feature the music of Billy and Cassie Lord, worship leaders with Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, and the humor of family comedian Scott Davis. Dec. 21 is special Sunday at SCHOC
St. Christopher Hellenic (Greek) Orthodox Church located at 313 Dividend Drive in Peachtree City welcomes everyone to its Nativity Services. Sunday, Dec. 21 is “Fill the Pew Sunday.” All families, friends and guests are welcome to worship. Orthros is from 7:45 a.m. – 9: a.m.; Divine Liturgy  9  am – 10:15 a.m.; Christmas Program and luncheon, 10:15 a.m. – noon. Christmas Caroling to shut-in families, 12:30 – 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to join in.

One service this Sunday at St. Paul
On Sunday, Dec. 21, St. Paul Lutheran Church will have a combined service at 10 a.m. with a Happy Birthday Jesus birthday cake following the service. Cokes Chapel’s musical set for Dec 21
The Cokes Chapel Celebration Singers will present their Christmas musical, “We’re Glad You Came” on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m. Under the direction of  Mrs. Jennie Underwood, the Celebration Singers will present an evening of music, scripture, and dramatic readings to help tell the story of Jesus’ birth and significance for our lives today. Pre-service music will begin at 4:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this annual Christmas tradition. FFBC will offer GriefShare
Fayetteville First Baptist Church will host GriefShare starting Jan. 13, on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm.  in room A101 at the church. GriefShare is a 13- week, biblically based support group which offers healing and hope for people who are struggling with the death of someone close to them.
