Fundraiser for the Bounds family set
Eleventh Hour Call Ministries in Fayetteville will host a fund raising benefit and community-wide gathering for the Randy Bounds family which has suffered personal tragedies and financial setbacks recently. The event will be held at 383 Fayette Place in Fayetteville on Saturday, Oct. 18, beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature music, inspirational word and fellowship. Men’s breakfast set at Dogwood
Dogwood Church Men’s next breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 beginning at 8 a.m. in the multi-purpose building, 975 Ga. Highway 74 N.  Peachtree City/Tyrone.  Guest speaker is Jay Vineyard, associate pastor for member mobilization.

Wind ensemble to perform at Flat Creek
The Peachtree Wind Ensemble, a community band which includes members from Fayette County and the surrounding areas, will perform a free concert  Saturday, Oct. 18,  at 3 p.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church. The theme is “Music From The Big Screen” and will feature selections from  2001 A Space Odyssey, Fantasia, The Lion King, Star Wars, Shindler’s List and more.  Flat Creek is at 161 Flat Creek Trail, Fayetteville.

Lyons’s anniversary to be celebrated
The Flipper Chapel A. M. E. Church family will celebrate the Rev. Kimberly Lyons’s fourth anniversary Sunday, Oct. 19. The theme is “Honoring a Shining Light who Glorifies God and Leads others to Christ.”  The Rev. Joan Sanders will be the 11 a.m. speaker and Presiding Elder Larry W. Hudson Sr. Will be the speaker for the services at 2:30 p.m.  Flipper Chapel is at 175 Booker Ave., Fayetteville.

Holly Grove to host note-singing
Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church will host its “Annual Note Singing Celebration” on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1:30 p.m. All are invited to enjoy this unusual art form. Holly Grove AME Church is at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

Woolsey’s Fall Festival is Oct. 31
A free, fun for the whole family Fall Festival will be held Friday,  Oct. 31, from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Woolsey Baptist Church. The event will feature  food, inflatables, popcorn, paint-a-pumpkin, trunk or treat, candy, hayride and live music. Revival set at CDM
 Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will hold a Fall Revival Service on Friday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Brian Hodges of Champions for Christ Church in Marietta.
