Women’s Day
The women of Flipper Chapel A. M. E. Church will celebrate their annual Women’s Day Sunday, Sept. 21,   at 2:30 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Tracey Fletcher and the Wesley Chapel A. M. E. Church family. The theme is “Women Walking With Purpose. The church is at 175 Booker Ave., Fayetteville, the Rev. Kimberly Lyons, pastor.

Greekfest
This year’s Greekfest sponsored by St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m., at Dixie Wing Hangar, Falcon Field, in Peachtree City. Tickets  are $50 per person and include Greek appetizers, buffet dinner, desserts, adult and regular beverages. Empowerment Day
Fellowship of Love Church (FOLC) will host and celebrate Community Empowerment Day on Sept. 21 and 28 at 8 and 10 a.m. at North Fayette Elementary School, 349 Kenwood Road in Fayetteville. Representatives from several Fayette County Schools and non-profit organizations  will be present to make brief presentations on volunteerism and the impact that donations have had on their respective organizations.
