Interfaith dinner scheduled for July 12
The Islamic Community Center of Atlanta will host its Annual Ramaden Interfaith Dinner Saturday, July 12, from 7:45 until 10 p.m. at the center in Fayetteville, 288 E. Lanier Ave. No RSVP required. Stark to give first sermon at St. Paul’s
St. Paul Lutheran Church’s new pastor, Paul Stark, will preach his first sermon this Sunday. Services are at 8 and 11 a.m. Stark brings with him 20 years of experience as a pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He  has served congregations in California and Missouri, and has created and leads a nonprofit ministry called “Pillar.”  Stark and his wife, Linda, have two children, Taylor, a freshman in college, and Jacob a junior in high school.

COS to offer Lutheroad Day Camp
Christ Our Shepherd announces the 8th annual Lutheroad Day Camp, July 21-25, at the church. The hours are: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m.-noon. Eligible children are those entering grades 1-6 for the 2014-2015 school year. Staff will be provided by Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of North Carolina. The cost is $165 per child. Registration is open and available at www.coslutheran.org. Morning’s activities take place at the church; some afternoons are away for service projects and fun activities. New Beginnings plans F&F Day July 27
New Beginnings Praise and Worship Center will host its annual “Friends and Family Day,” Sunday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m.  A home cooked meal will be served following the service. The church is at 1091 South Jeff Davis Dr., Fayetteville. For more info, contact the church  office, 770-460-1346.

Prayer group meets at Summit
A community prayer group meets at The Summit Family Resource Center, 1373 Ga. Highway 92 S. Fayetteville, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  This is an inter-denominational event. Everyone is invited. Call 770-460-3335 for more information.

Word of Life FMC offers relationship class
Word of Life Free Methodist Church in Fayetteville offers Relationships 101 classes each third Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m.  The church is at 405 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, behind the Dairy Queen in the Harvest Community Shopping Center, in front of the Wings and Things Restaurant.
