Unique gun may be key to gas station robbery

A unique gun may be the key to solving the armed robbery of a gas station April 28 in north Fayette County.

Video from the incident at the Chevron located at Ga. Highway 92 and Rivers Road shows the masked gunman wielding a black powder revolver similar to a Remington 1858, according to sheriff’s detectives. The gunman dressed in a long-sleeve shirt and wore an Under Armor hat or mask with Nike brand shoes.

Sheriff’s detectives noted that the suspect appeared to be of a thin build and about 6 feet tall.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call detectives at 770-716-4750.
