Peeples Elem. needs votes for video contest
Peeples Elementary needs community support as it seeks to win a national contest as one of the nation’s “most innovative” schools.
Peeples is one of 103 schools in the running for the honor, and needs votes for its online video submitted as part of the competition. The votes will count towards 30 percent of the school’s total score.
The winning school will receive $60,000 in products and services from Follett School Solutions.
The school submitted its Cultural Arts Week Immersion program for consideration in the contest. To vote for the video, visit www.follettchallenge.com.
According to Tom Schenck, president and COO for Follett School Solutions, the Follett Challenge exists to spotlight educators who are doing an exceptional job with the limited resources they have and to give them a platform to share their innovative efforts with their peers.
“Once again, we hope to hear and share the incredibly inspiring stories from educators across this country who are preparing their students for the demands of the 21st century,” Schenck said. “It is a great source of pride for Follett to reward these passionate educators with the resources to do even more.”
