Wilbur Vincent Pleuss, Jr., 69, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away February 14, 2015.

He grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. Mr. Pleuss loved to play tennis and loved sailing. He was a big fan of the University of Kentucky Basketball team.

Mr. Pleuss is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Louise Pleuss and brother, James Pleuss.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Pleuss of Peachtree City; daughters, Kris (Paul) Smith of Fayetteville and Kim (Bill) Haywood of Mt. Gilead, N.C.; son, Billy (Bridget) Pleuss of Waimea, Hawaii; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Logan, Harrison and Caitlin Smith; Ashlyn and Will Haywood; Skyler, Cassidy and Zoey Pleuss; nephew, Jimi Pleuss; niece, Annie Pleuss.

The funeral service was held in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City at 12 p.m. on February 17, 2015 with Pastor Doug Fultz officiating. The burial immediately followed the service at Westminster Gardens, Peachtree City. The family received friends on February 17, 2015 prior to the service.
