Paula Jean Wrenn Dougherty passed away at her home in Peachtree City, Ga. on April 24, 2018.

Born in Charlotte, NC on April 26, 1931 to Isobel and Paul Wrenn, Paula Jean Wrenn graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., where she met her husband, Daniel Francis Dougherty. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City, a volunteer and supporter of the Joseph Sams School, an avid traveler, and she played bridge with the same ladies for fifty years.

Paula was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Francis Dougherty, and eldest son, Paul Jeffery Dougherty.  She is survived by her daughter, Dana Wrenn Dougherty Sams and her husband, Fletcher, and her youngest son, Matthew Chaxelle Dougherty and his wife, Donna.  She was also blessed with four grandchildren, William Fletcher Sams, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, and Sara Kate Sams Otero and her husband, Richard, Matthew Paul Dougherty, and Cameron Ann Dougherty Berry and her husband, Frank, and four great-granddaughters, Ada Wrenn Sams, Remington Lee Otero, Aubrey Mae Sams, and Olivia Tesla Otero.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the family cemetery for immediate family, followed by a 10 a.m. service and reception for family and friends at Rowland Road Farm in Brooks, Ga.

Directions to Rowland Road Farm Pavilion from Peachtree City:  Follow 74 South until it ends at Ga. Highway 85.  Left onto Ga. Highway 85. 1st right onto Highway 85 Connector toward Brooks. Just before entering the town of Brooks, turn left onto Woods Road.  Follow Woods Road until it ends into Grant Road.  Turn left on Grant Road, then turn at the first street on the left, Rowland Road.  Property is the last drive on the right.
