Fayetteville Waffle House hit by armed robber at midnight

Fayetteville police are looking for an armed man who stole money from the register at the Fayetteville Waffle House on Ga. Highway 85 North on March 14.

Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Chad Myers said the incident occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. on March 14 at the northside Waffle House on Hwy. 85 North.

Myers said the man produced a handgun and was able to obtain an unspecified amount of money from the cash register.

The suspect was observed leaving in a dark colored 4-door passenger car with two occupants, said Myers.
