Dolores Donald Ridikas, 82, Neosho, Mo., passed away at 1:20 a.m. on October 25, 2017 after a long illness.  During her illness, her husband, Robert J. Ridikas, devoted his life to taking care of her.  Shortly after her death, Robert, 82, of Neosho, Mo. passed away of a broken heart on November 11, 2017 at Oak Pointe in Neosho, Mo.

Dolores Annetta (Donald) Ridikas was born September 25, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of William and Josephine Foster Donald. She was a homemaker and an active member of Berachah Bible Church in Fayetteville, Ga., where she worked in church missions and was a Sunday School teacher.  Robert John Ridikas was born on February 20, 1935 in Abington, Pa., the son of Bernard J. and Bertha Frances (Skukauska) Ridikas.  Robert served his country in the United States Army’s 101st Airborne from 1954-1956. He was a businessman with many different endeavors.

Dolores and Robert were married on November 2, 1957 in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

They are survived by one son, Robert W. Ridikas of Griffin, Ga.; three daughters, Beth Anne Parker of Palm Coast, Fla., Judith Bingham of Brooks, Ga. and Sue Ferron of Seneca, Mo.; and  their grandchildren, Rodney, Nicholas, Lucy and Sarah Ridikas, Joshua, Jonathan, Noelle Parker, Andrew and William Bingham, Holly, Cole, Kyle and Caden Ferron.

Dolores is also survived by one brother, Bobby Donald of Erie, Pa.; and one sister Marianne Hazen of Fayetteville, Ga. Robert is also survived by one brother, Vincent Thomas Ridikas of Eric, Pa.

A joint Celebration of Life service for Dolores and Robert Ridikas will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Dolores and Robert’s memory be made to the Gideon Association or to any Christian organization of your choosing.
