Republican tax cut talk is a flim-flam designed to dupe you

Trump and congressional Republicans are about to unveil their much ballyhooed tax reform (cuts) bill. They have been telling us for some time now how important and how badly needed this bill is.

As with their healthcare initiative they have promised a bill that will improve the economic conditions for middle to lower classes.

Unfortunately this tax cut for the wealthy is really nothing more that a flim-flam designed to dupe Americans into supporting a bill that cuts taxes for the wealthy while increasing them for lower income workers.

Once again they will attempt to enact it in a hurry hoping it will be a “done deal” before the rest of us realize what they have done.

The notion “to whom much has been given, much is expected” does not seem to occur to most Republicans. They do not have a problem with taking from the poor and giving to the rich. They prefer to ignore the income disparity that enriches some at the expense of others. This thinking is clearly flawed, repugnant and immoral.

I would very much like to live in an American society that lives up to its promise of justice and righteousness for all, not just the rich. I would like live in a country where the government actually protects the interests of all the people and not just the rich.

Republicans, even though they are a minority of the electorate, have successfully taken power by the use of mendacity and mud slinging. I see no good ideas presented that will return America to greatness.

What I do see is a constant barrage of misrepresentations intended to dupe the gullible into supporting polices that are bad for America as a whole. If we do not wake up and smell the coffee we will find ourselves living in a third world country where the rich and powerful rule with disdain.

I reiterate, Republicans care nothing of the middle and lower classes. They care only for themselves and believe sincerely that they should have everything, all the power and all the wealth. Is that what we want? Is that what is best for all the people? Is that what will make America great again? I don’t think so.

The Trumpers want to exploit America for themselves. Look what they have already done.
