Celebrate Jewish High Holidays with Chabad of Peachtree City, Congregation B’nai Israel

Two local Jewish organizations will celebrate the Jewish High Holy Days beginning tonight.

Chabad of Peachtree City and Congregation B’Nai Israel both invite the community to participate.

Rosh Hashana at Chabad of PTC begins Wednesday, Sept. 20, with a service at 7:30 p.m.

Morning services will be held Thursday and Friday, Sept. 21 and 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Shofar blowing will be at approximately 11:30 a.m.

On Friday, Sept. 29. the Eve of Yom Kippur, Koi Nidri will be at 7:30 p.m.

A morning service will be held Saturday, Sept. 30. at 9:30 a.m.; Yizkor at noon (approximately);  Neilah at 6:45 p.m.

Shofar blowing and breakfast are at 8:02 a.m.

Congregation B’nai Israel in Jonesboro also invites the community to High Holy Holiday services.

The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, Sept 20 – Rosh Hashana evening services, 7:30 p.m.;

Thursday, Sept 21 – Rosh Hashana – morning services, 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon;

Friday, Sept 29 – Yom Kippur – evening services, 7:30 p.m.;

Saturday, Sept 30 – Yom Kippur – morning services- 10 a.m.;
