Fry Anniversary

Frank and Kay Fry, residents of Peachtree City for 25 years, will celebrate their 50th (golden) anniversary on Aug. 18.

They both graduated from Columbia International University in June of 1967 and were married Aug. 18 at Glendale Community Church in Jacksonville, Fla.

Over the past years Frank was headmaster of several prominent Christian schools in Florida, as well as a member of the staff at Columbia International University where he initiated and directed the “True Life  Company.” The instrumental/singing group toured the states and Europe as part of the university’s public relations.

Frank’s skills in administration and his passion for missions led him to serve  in various churches and mission organizations sharing the good news of the gospel in 40 countries.

He is now semi-retired and volunteers his time as as a counselor, including the Real Life Center and Job Seekers in Peachtree City.

Kay, a skilled violinist and teacher, is director of the “Fayette Fiddlers.” Hundreds of young musicians have participated in the educational Suzuki Violin School which she founded 25 years ago after moving to Peachtree City.

The Frys say they are thankful for their four children and their spouses, Shelly (Dr. Gary) Davis,  Shana (Chris)Collins, Shawn (Ester), and Shane (Jennie) who have blessed them with 16 grandchildren.
