Mrs. Nellie Dean Madden Eggleston, age 92, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 with her beloved daughter caring for her. Her strong faith in God has now become sight (1 Corinthians 13:12).
Nell was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth “Ken” Eggleston Sr., her parents, and her four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her children, Barbara and Andy Alderman of Newnan, and their children Donnie and Nu Alderman, (great grandchild – Nadia) of Newnan and David Alderman (great grandchild, Austin) of Tyrone, Ken and Sharon Eggleston, and their children Chad and Mandy Eggleston, (great grandchildren – Cady and Davis) of Montgomery, Ala. and Philip and Jeannine Eggleston (great grandchild – P.J.) of Dacula, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree Chapel, with Dr. Chad Eggleston officiating. Burial immediately followed the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family received friends from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
