The period of April 18-24 came with three burglaries in unincorporated Fayette County.

A burglary on West Lake Drive off Rivers Road was reported on April 20, said Sheriff Barry Babb.

Forced entry was made to the residence using a rock thrown through a rear glass door with the exit made through the garage door, Babb said.

Babb said two televisions, a laptop computer and two video game units were stolen.

Another burglary was reported on April 20 on Majesty Lane off Ga. Highway 85 South.

A contractor working on the home reported that forced entry through a basement door occurred between April 16-20. A stove and microwave were stolen, Babb said, adding that a patio door was found unlocked.

Also on April 20, the burglary of a vacant home being shown for sale on Ginger Cake Road was reported at approximately 7:15 p.m. Though no forced entry was noted, Babb said a dishwasher and stove were stolen.
