Janet A. LePla, 68, of Peachtree City, passed away at her home, on April 5, 2017.

Janet was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18, 1947 she was the daughter of George and Ethel Neiswinter and resided in Parma, Ohio. Janet graduated from Parma High School in 1965. After graduation she went to work in the banking industry in Cleveland while taking some classes to obtain an associate degree. Shortly thereafter she met her first husband and gave birth to her daughter Jacqueline.

Janet then moved to North Ridgeville, Ohio. After a difficult split with her husband Janet then went to work for the Ford Motor Company at their engine plants in Brook Park, Ohio. While working at the plants she met Leonard LePla, a Ford employee from Detroit, Mich. They were married December 2, 1977. Leonard was then sent back to a permanent assignment at the Ford Foundry in Flat Rock, Mich. Janet was able to transfer to the Foundry and worked in the accounting department. Janet left Ford and went to work for a computer company who had developed a new line of desk top computers. She worked as a trainer of the new system that was installed at Ford head quarters and was the head of the help desk which solved employee computer issues. She then moved to GM world head quarters performing the same type of jobs.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leonard LePla; daughters, Jacqueline Parks, and Jennifer Triestram; son, John LePla (Dawn); grandchildren, Marissa and Steve Parks, Kathryn LePla Spangler, Alexandria LePla, Ian LePla, Benjamin LePla, Zachary LePla, Nathan LePla, Adam LePla, Emily Stroh, Hannah Stroh, and Anne LePla (Michael) Bailey, Kierra Bailey, Bryan Bailey; great grandchildren, Trenton Spangler, Charlotte Spangler, Carter LePla, and, Madeline McNutt; sisters, Susan Timm and family; Debbie Sebastian and family; Diane Neiswinter and family; Linda (Bob) Radosevic; and brother, George Neiswinter.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
