Two Landmark students from Peachtree City leave on mission trip to Kenya

On Sunday Feb. 12, members of Word of God Lutheran church participated with Pastor Jeffray Greene in the laying on of hands to pray for God’s blessings upon two of its high school students, Matthew Drury and Paige Drury, children of Cheryl and Bill Drury. .

The students are traveling to Kenya during winter break on a mission trip with other students from Landmark Christian School.

Each year, Landmark high school students have the opportunity to go on two school-sponsored mission trips..

The Landmark website states: “The students are trained and equipped before being sent on these missions so they can practically and effectively impact the world for Jesus Christ.”
