The campaigns have nearly ended and the time for voters to have their say in municipal elections in Peachtree City, Tyrone, Senoia and Sharpsburg is coming on Nov. 3.

The Post 1 seat in Peachtree City will see a contested race between Planning Commissioner Phil Prebor and homemaker Shayne Robinson. Councilman Eric Imker announced previously that he would not seek re-election to the Post 1 seat.

Tyrone will have two contested races. Mayor Eric Dial will be opposed by consultant Derrick Jackson while the Post 2 council race will feature incumbent Ryan Housley who is being challenged by Tyrone Planning Commissioner Wil James.

In Senoia, the Post 4 seat on the Senoia City Council will see a three-way race between incumbent Bobby Graham and challengers Don Rehman and Doris Chappell, both of whom are retired.

And in Sharpsburg, incumbent Mayor Wendell Staley and Post 3 Councilwoman Celene Davenport qualified for the mayor’s seat.

Qualifiers for the Post 1 seat included Stan D. Parten and George E. Amey.

Post 3 qualifiers included Polly Garlington and J. David Mullins.

The races in all the elections are at-large.
