A number of water fountains on Peachtree City’s cart path system have been damaged recently and police are hoping a sizable reward will lead to the perpetrator(s) arrest.

A $2,500 bounty has been placed for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the damage. The water fountains in the Huddleston Pond area were intentionally damaged along with various other locations in the city, police have said.

The award is being offered jointly by the police department and the Peachtree City Running Club, which has donated the water fountains over the past 20 years as a public service to the community.

Anyone with information on the persons responsible are asked to call police at 770-487-8866 or the crime and narcotics information hotline at 770-487-6010. Callers may remain anonymous if they do not wish to seek the reward.
