By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, Piedmont Newnan Hospital has again earned The Joint Commission’s “Gold Seal of Approval.”
“This Joint Commission survey was Piedmont Newnan Hospital’s best survey in recent memory,” said Michael Bass, Piedmont Newnan Hospital president and CEO. “The surveyors lauded our hospital for our operations and patient care, and they took with them many of our best practices to share with other hospitals. This excellent performance by Piedmont Newnan Hospital reflects our continued commitment to always look for ways to improve the care and services we provide our patients.”
Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation’s health care through voluntary accreditation. The Joint Commission’s on-site survey of Piedmont Newnan Hospital occurred in July.
