The Shoal Creek Adventist School in Sharpsburg is looking for some help in securing 50 needed laptop computers. The effort is being supported by Eva Fegarido, wife of Joel Fegarido who lost his life earlier this summer saving his 10 year-old son in the Snake River Rapids in Wyoming.

Joel was the school’s board chairman, and Eva wants to carry on Joel’s vision to update the school’s technology. She entered the Charter Communications Laptop Giveaway through an essay honoring her husband, the school said in a recent press release.

“These laptops would also expand our missionary vision for our community by attracting new students and families to our school. Please vote and share with your coworkers, principals, teachers, schools, pastors, churches, family and friends,” the press release said.

The deadline for voting for Shoal Creek Adventist School is Sept. 20.
