Holy Trinity’s Griefshare starts tonight
Griefshare, a 13-week Christian video/discussion support group for those who have lost a loved one,will be offered at Holy Trinity Church at 101 Walt Banks Road in Peachtree City. Each GriefShare session is self-contained so one can begin attending at any time. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. beginning May 19 and May 21. Jason Epps guests at CTK
Jason Epps of Senoia, son of Bishop David and Dr. Cynthia Epps of Sharpsburg, will be the guest preacher at the 10 a.m. service at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Pentecost Sunday, May 23. A deacon at Christ the King, Epps is also a lieutenant with the Peachtree City Police Department. The church is located at 4881 Highway 34 East between Peachtree City and Newnan.

Grantville gospel sings set for Fri., Sat.
This month’s free gospel sings at the Old Depot in Grantville are set for Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday’s performers will be “Halls of Glory Renewal,” an all girl country gospel band from Conyers, and “Trinity” from Columbus. Saturday’s performers will be “Second Coming” from Griffin and “New Horizons” from Thomaston. Refreshments will be available. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food bank and an unwrapped toy for the 2010 Toys for Tots program. Faith Lutheran will host soccer camp
Faith Lutheran in Sharpsburg will host Soccer Camp 2010 June 21-24. Under the theme “Win the Prize”, children ages 4-13 will spend four days learning valuable soccer skills from an experienced coaching staff and will enjoy Christian fellowship. Camp is from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and concludes with a special Soccer Sunday barbecue and festival at the church on June 27.
