Anniversary celebration coming up
True Love Christian Ministries will celebrate its anniversary this Sunday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m. The church pastor is Elder Nathaniel Livingston. The anniversary theme is “Now is the time for the church to work and pray.” The Rev. Jerome Drakeford, pastor of Flint Ridge Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker. The Rev. Ed Johnson, pastor of Flat Rock AME Church, and Tom Kroessig, Ambassador Field Director for Promise Keepers, are also on the program. True Love is at 192 Graves Rd. Yancy in concert at PTC Presbyterian
The First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City will present Yancy in concert for one night only, Saturday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and $5 for seniors or students. Holy Trinity will offer GriefShare
GriefShare, a Christian based 13-week video/discussion grief recovery group, is being offered at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 101 Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City. Each session is self-contained and one is welcome to begin attending at any session. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday evenings (beginning Jan. 27) from 7-9 p.m. in the library, and on Friday mornings (beginning Jan. 29) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room 206 of the education building.
